Philadelphia spreads ‘Land of the Cream Cheese’ jingle
The Kraft Heinz brand is gearing up for the Fourth of July with a festive jingle, Land of the Cream Cheese, by rising country star Travis Yee. Philadelphia is celebrating Independence Day with this original country tune highlighting American patriotism and the nation’s love for cream cheese.
The lyrics humorously mention how Americans enjoy cream cheese on bagels, in pasta, coffee, Crock Pots, cheesecakes, with veggies, and for both breakfast and dinner.
“As an iconic brand that has been around for more than 150 years, Philadelphia shares our fans’ passion for proudly using our cream cheese to make anything and everything creamier,” said Senior Brand Manager Keenan White, in a statement. “We’re excited to recognize fans’ fervor in a way that’s never been done before and let them know that we see and appreciate their cream cheese devotion.”
Land of the Cream Cheese is crafted to sound like a hit on country radio, celebrating patriotism and the American dream. The song’s chorus offers a recipe for America, including “a dollop of freedom, a spoonful of grit,” and “a big ole block of that cream cheese.”
Yee, known for his social media covers on Tiktok, where cream cheese recipes have garnered over 132 million views, has amassed 1 million followers himself under the handle @asiancountrysinger, making him a perfect fit for this campaign that ties together culinary traditions and agricultural pride.
