Jason Brown’s story is one many of us have heard before, but it’s also an amazing one that needs to be told again and again. The star NFL center left football to establish a life for himself on a farm in North Carolina.
An annual multi-million salary was traded in for a chance to be a part of one of the world’s oldest industries. The particularly unique thing is that he had never farmed a day in his life, so he turned to the Internet to learn as much as he could about the trade.
In this video, he talks with a CBS reporter about how it all fell into place.
