CNH Industrial — the parent company of popular tractor brands Case IH and New Holland — has announced it’s new methane-powered model for the New Holland line.
“Imagine a farm of the future which is completely energy independent, satisfying all of its own fuel and energy requirements, as well as those of the local community, all by using waste products,” the company says on its site showcasing the new machine.
CNH says that the methane version has the same power and torque as its diesel equivalent and that it has highly efficient combustion (80 percent lower emissions than what we’re used to).
