Wrangling nearly 800 head of cattle for an FNBO TV commercial is hard enough, but organizing them into art — that is a step above.
David Schuler of Schuler Red Angus in Bridgeport, Nebraska, is a 27-year-old third-generation rancher representing the future of ag. And while he’s no stranger to the hardships and mental health challenges of the industry, he has cultivated a particular talent.
He doesn’t just take care of his cattle — he creates art with them.
FNBO said it wanted to recognize this new generation of ag leaders and the innovation and the care they bring to their craft. Working with Schuler, FNBO filmed a video that tells his story while David organized a cattle art project that celebrates FNBO’s 165 years in business.
