Italian artist plows Eiffel Tower into farm field for Paris Olympics
Italian land artist Dario Gambarin is known for his artistic renditions plowed into a 270,000-square-foot field in Verona. His most recent rendition includes a massive Eiffel Tower, spread over several fields to celebrate the upcoming Paris Olympics.
The likeness of the famous Paris landmark and the Olympic symbol of five interlaced rings was plowed using a tractor over two acres. The Paris 2024 Summer Olympics is set to be held as top athletes compete for the gold in France from July 26 to Aug. 11, 2024.
In the past, Gamberline has used his fields to plow out the likeness of former political figures such as former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the artist Picasso.
