Iowa farmers begin long recovery from the derecho

How do you move on when the family legacy is destroyed by forces beyond your control? Earlier this month, a derecho that traveled through Iowa and surrounding states destroyed homes, farms, crops, and communities. Farmers and ranchers are now left to clean up and recover from this historic storm. 

On the Certified Angus Beef Facebook page the company said, “A derecho in Iowa destroyed farms, crops and communities. Wildfires rage in California. Hurricanes are causing wind damage and flooding across the southern states. America’s farmers and ranchers can use a helping hand.
