Iowa farmer gets into the weeds of tough tax rules

Ben Van Roekel, who runs the iowANFarmer YouTube channel, is a second-generation grower in southern Iowa. With the arrival of the Biden administration, Van Roekel has concerns about some of the policy changes that the new national leadership is implementing. Among them are the newly proposed tax plans on generational farming. He notes that, at the time he made his video, the policies have not been implemented yet, but they have been proposed, and farmers should reach out to their elected officials soon to make sure any negative impacts on American agriculture are halted.
