Just weeks after the release of Miley Cyrus’ lead single Flowers was released, Gatlin Didier, a multi-generation Oklahoma farmer, took to social media with his parody version Tractors.
When COVID-related shutdowns stymied Didier’s dreams of acting in California, he returned to the farm to help work and make videos about farm life on social media. As the writer, director, and character for “Farm Stuff with Darrel”, Didier’s videos feature his grandmother and cousin (known as Gate Bart).
