The agriculture industry has long fought the battle of urban sprawl. For many years farmers have been losing ground to the expanding cities around them. The American Angus Association presents the first film to expose the impact of urban sprawl on American agriculture: “Losing Ground”.
“Losing Ground” will premiere on national television on May 27 on RFD-TV. After the premier, the film will be released on YouTube for everyone to view. You can subscribe to Angus TV to see the film.
“We knew we were losing farmland. But we are actually losing farmland almost twice as fast as we thought before. 1.5 million acres a year. 175 acres every hour.”
