Have you ever wondered what a cow eats?
For those of us in the livestock industry, it may seem like an easy answer — what do cows eat?. However, for those outside of that industry, it is very interesting and can be quite complex. Most dairy cows and beef cows have their own nutritionist who calculates their diet for optimal efficiency. Cows take byproducts that would normally go into landfills, along with hay and corn silage, to make the nutritious milk that we find in the grocery stores.
