Cavender’s video celebrates the American rancher

Boot and Western wear outfitter Cavender’s released a video shot by Bud Force celebrating the enduring image of the American rancher by saying, “It’s not just what we wear. This is how we live.”

In the video, Adrian Brannan — also known as “Buckaroogirl” — sings America the Beautiful while images embodying the diversity of Western culture play across the screen. 

An all-American company, Cavender’s was founded in 1965 in Pittsburg, Texas, by James and Pat Cavender. What began as a small company selling just three styles of Tony Lama boots has blossomed into a chain selling all notions of products from Lucchese, Justin, Tony Lama, Wrangler, and more. The Cavender family was inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2019. 

Brannan debuted her first album, Highway 80, at just 14 years old. The singer-songwriter has since produced the albums Boots and Pearls, Buckaroogirl, A Little Bit Country, and Desert Dwelling Mama.
