Budweiser’s Clydesdales are back for Super Bowl LVIII
The Budweiser Clydesdales are iconic. From the Prohibition era to Super Bowl commercials, perhaps nothing resonates more about Budweiser’s storied history than its team of Clydesdale horses. More than just a mascot, the Clydesdales have been part of Anheuser-Busch for more than 80 years.
The first advertisement aired during the Super Bowl was at Super Bowl XX in 1986. After threatening that they wouldn’t have a Clydesdale during the Super Bowl in 2010, Budweiser reversed its decision based on a fan vote on Facebook. This year, they’ve released a teaser ahead of Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11 — be sure to keep an eye out for the full advertisement.
Warm Springs Ranch serves as the official breeding facility in Missouri. However, the horses’ official headquarters are the Anheuser-Busch brewery complex in St. Louis, Missouri, and Merrimack, New Hampshire.
