“Before The Plate,” an insightful food documentary that explores the farm origins of ingredients used in a high-end Toronto restaurant, was available in February as a free preview for all to see. The results blew away all expectations of the film’s creators, with over 16,000 streaming views and thousands of Facebook shares.
The movie is currently available on YouTube to buy or rent. But in addition to that, “Before The Plate” is being offered to schools free of charge and is available to any teacher or board who requests a copy through the website.
AGDAILY attended the film’s premiere, and it is exactly the kind of movie that students should be able to see. We encourage all teachers — but especially ag teachers — to request a copy!
