School Website >>The School of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in Tifton, Georgia, leads the Southeast in advancing the agriculture and natural resources industries through hands-on experiences and rigorous academic preparation. We pride ourselves on having small class sizes, high quality and engaged instructors. There are frequent opportunities for hands-on learning both in- and outside the classroom through our 400 acre farm, 100 head commercial cow-calf beef cattle unit, 9-hole golf course, turfgrass teaching green, and research plots; greenhouse and nursey facilities; 1,000-acre teaching forest, nature study area, Lake Baldwin, and pitcher plant bog. We pride ourselves on complementing our students’ high quality educational experience with networking and professional development opportunities through professional association-affiliated clubs, speakers, tours, internships, study abroad opportunities, and undergraduate research. Our graduates have a high placement rate as indicated by their high demand by the agriculture and natural resources industries.
Also, the school offers in-state tuition rates to residents of Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
