The cattle thief who recently stole 34 calves from an Iowa sale barn has come forward and offered to pay for the cattle. According to KSOM, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office has learned that Red Oak-Omaha Livestock Market has been contacted by the individual responsible and no charges will be filed as the matter will be handled internally.

Pat Wolfe, who owns the sale barn with his father Don, told The Daily Nonpareil that the person behind the theft contacted them anonymously and paid for the cattle.
