?Vinnie’s Starting Five? Ferb•Boo•Fred•Yeti•Frisco ?Ferb’s the Captain who calls out all the shots and loves to see her teammates shine. Her glory days are over; she’s old & slow & out of shape so she hangs out a little more on the bench (next to me?), but we love her to pieces. ??Boo’s (Ferb’s daughter) the most versatile member of the team and a force to be reckoned with. She has great pups, but wants them recruited young, so she weans ‘em early.? ???Fred’s (Boo’s son) the newest member to the roster. He shows great promise, but doesn’t hear HIS ‘COACH’ VERY WELL yet, so he gets benched now and then?. We all know those kind of players?. ???? Yeti’s (Ferb & Frisco’s daughter) becoming a game changer. She’s athletic, determined, ugly (I mean cute?), dirty (figuratively and literally) and is always willing to play the game. ?????Our final member of the D1 squad is a juco (junior college?) transfer from ‘down the road.’ Frisco joined Vinnie’s team with great enthusiasm and has been an incredible addition to the lineup. However, he will only play the game one way: Find his opponent (you know, cows) at whatever the cost, never quit until they are all gathered up, stay out of the limelight, and only check in with Coach when all the work is done or he wants some dinner. He’s sort of a one man show and doesn’t care for other dogs (especially mine) unless they are working the flank on a herd of beeves. I support dairy. I support livestock producers. I support the grain and lentil industries. I support GMO's and organic and non- organic and am so thankful we have such a diverse and healthy food supply in this country. We can't allow Starbucks and Hollywood and politicians to bully us into allowing our choices to be taken away. We can't stop supporting and standing up for all facets of agriculture, because if we don't, it will all be gone. ❤ Richelle
