It's amazing how fast this farm needs a drink of water! We have received over 5" of rain in the last two weeks but high heat and sand just don't mix well together. Today marks our first day of irrigation for 2017 and it also marks the first day we have been able to move the pivot since last fall. I should add that I was literally attacked by mosquitos while taking this pic, in fact if you watch my story if you look closely you can see the mosquitos buzzing around. #irritated #irrigation #farm #iowa #midwest #sunset #agdaily #agday365
