As the holiday season approaches, 4-H will continue its partnership with Tractor Supply Company, with several key initiatives lined up for the end of 2024.
Starting October 7 (which is the kickoff of National 4-H Wee), limited-edition collectible 4-H holiday ornaments will be available in Tractor Supply stores nationwide. All proceeds from the ornament sales will directly benefit 4-H, supporting its programs and youth development efforts across the country.
For the 81st consecutive year, millions of youths, parents, volunteers and alumni across the country will celebrate National 4-H Week from Oct. 7 to 12.
This year’s theme, Beyond Ready, is a theme that reiterates the importance of 4-H in the lives of young people to develop strong life skills, career development and interpersonal skills.
In conjunction with National 4-H Week, TSC stores will host the Fall Paper Clover event in the store and online. However, the dates are being pushed back to embrace the holiday spirit and will begin on Black Friday this year.
This year, the Paper Clover campaign will take place during the holiday season this year, running from November 29th to December 15th. The timing of this event, known for its strong support of 4-H youth, aligns perfectly with the season of giving. Funds raised through this initiative will benefit 4-H Camp and Leadership Scholarships, providing essential opportunities for youth to develop their skills and reach their full potential.
Since the launch of the Paper Clover campaign in 2010, Tractor Supply has raised over $20 million for 4-H. The funds have supported more than 100,000 youth by providing them with the resources they need to thrive. Of every dollar raised, 90% stays within the state where it was donated, ensuring that local 4-H programs benefit directly. In Cherokee County, over 80% of funds raised return to support 4-H camping and leadership opportunities.
With these exciting initiatives, 4-H and Tractor Supply are working together to inspire and support the next generation of leaders this holiday season.
