Tractor Supply kicks off fall 4-H Paper Clover Fundraiser

Published:

Tractor Supply Company has kicked off its second 4-H Paper Clover campaign of 2024. Beginning on Black Friday, customers began to be able to donate at checkout, which will help strengthen 4-H educational programs and increase hands-on opportunities for young people nationwide. The biannual fundraiser, now in its 14th year, generates millions of dollars in scholarships for 4-H youth.

“During our biannual Paper Clover fundraisers, our customers always show up for our 4-H partners. Their donations have made it possible for thousands of young people to take advantage of life-changing learning opportunities,” said John Ordus, chief stores officer at Tractor Supply and member of the National 4-H Council board of trustees. “This year, our fundraiser comes at a time when the spirit of giving is especially top of mind, and we hope to engage even more of our community in making a positive impact on our future leaders.”

Through December 15, customers can purchase a paper clover at checkout in stores nationwide or online at TractorSupply.com. Funds raised through the Paper Clover campaign support 4-H educational programs and provide 4-H members with the opportunity to engage in leadership-building experiences such as camps and conferences. Ninety percent of all donations will directly support 4-H youth in the state in which the donation was made, while the remaining 10 percent will support national 4-H programming.

4‑H is America’s largest youth development organization, empowering nearly 6 million young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime. Its research-based programming includes activities in the areas of agriculture, health, science and civic engagement, and the guidance and life-long skills necessary to succeed in college and career.

“We are grateful for Tractor Supply’s ongoing partnership and the generosity of their customers. Their support helps 4-H’ers across the country develop the leadership skills to be Beyond Ready for life and work,” said Heather Elliott, senior vice president and chief development officer, National 4-H Council.

During the 2024 spring Paper Clover fundraiser, Tractor Supply raised over $1.3 million for 4-H youth nationwide. Tractor Supply has partnered with 4-H since 2010 to support hands-on leadership and learning. Together, they have raised more than $22 million for the nation’s youth.
