National FFA announces winners for the agriscience fair

The National FFA Organization has announced the 2024 National FFA Agriscience Fair winners for Animal Systems and Food Products and Processing. The winners were recognized today during the third session of the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo.

The National FFA Agriscience Fair recognizes students who gain real-world, hands-on experiences in agricultural enterprises. Students use scientific principles and emerging technologies to solve complex problems related to agriculture, food and natural resources. The agriscience fair is for middle and high school students. Students compete in one of six categories in the agriscience fair and under one of the six divisions — either individually or in a team.

The winners are:

Erin Keith of the Franklin County Middle FFA Chapter in Georgia

Joslin Henderson and Aubrie Overly of the Ridgemont FFA Chapter in Ohio

Animal Systems: Division 3
Nate Mason of the Cocke County FFA Chapter in Tennessee

Animal Systems: Division 4
Mason Swavel and Owen Kearns of the Ridgemont FFA Chapter in Ohio

Animal Systems: Division 5
Amarachi Uche-Eboh of the Talkington FFA Chapter in Texas

Animal Systems: Division 6
Logan Brand and C. Isaac Schweitzer of the DeKalb FFA Chapter in Indiana

Food Productions and Processing: Division 1
Addison Smith of the Millcreek-West Unity FFA Chapter in Ohio

Food Productions and Processing: Division 2
Faith Crow and Sofie Ginsburg of the Florence FFA Chapter in Texas

Food Productions and Processing: Division 3
Kenley Pack of the Stephenville FFA Chapter in Texas

Food Productions and Processing: Division 4
Breann Vermillion and Laney Elsasser of the Ridgemont FFA Chapter in Ohio
