FFA chapters across the country are spreading holiday cheer through a wide range of community service projects, from organizing food and coat drives to delivering gifts and handmade holiday cards.
Members are brightening the season for families in need, senior citizens, and children by volunteering their time and resources to make a positive impact. These efforts not only bring joy to their communities but also reflect the core values of FFA: leadership, compassion, and “Living to Serve.”
Here are some of the ways they’re doing it:
Fairfield FFA in Ohio donates “birthday” boxes to the local food bank.
Triton FFA in North Carolina celebrated Christmas festivities by delivery gifts to nursing homes in
“We wanted to do something special for the residents of Pine Crest Gardens Nursing Home,” said Micheal Cole, Triton High School FFA president. “We hope our visit brought some happiness and joy to their holiday season.”
FFA members in Michigan spread holiday cheer to students experiencing homelessness.
Bloomer FFA in Wisconsin helped bag and deliver gifts to kids and seniors.
Stover FFA in Missouri shopped for the Angel Tree to help provide toys to kids in their community this holiday season.
Weston Ranch FFA in California packed up sandwiches to feed people experiencing homelessness in their area.
Menifee County FFA in Kentucky made and delivered blankets to seniors at Edgewood Estates.
Winder-Barrow FFA members in Georgia packed up hygiene and snack boxes for a domestic violence shelter.
Summerville Middle FFA in Georgia delivered Christmas Cards to Oakview Health and Rehabilitation residents.
Haralson County FFA in Georgia hosted an entire 12 days of service, rounding out with writing and mailing letters to deployed soldiers.
