Tractor Supply Co. will host a nationwide Farmers Market on Saturday, August 19, in the retailer’s more than 2,100 communities.
The event will showcase the talent and products of local farmers, growers, craft makers, artisans, and other producers. Customers and community members are invited to stop by, explore the wide range of offerings, and support their neighbors by purchasing homemade and homegrown goods and products.
The free event occurs outside Tractor Supply stores nationwide with local vendors selling products like fresh fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts, accessories, specialty food and drink, and more.
Many sellers return annually and look forward to engaging with their communities every year.
This is the third year Floyd Vanderford, owner of Floyd’s Hobby Shop, will sell his custom wood pieces at the Farmers Market held by the Jasper, Georgia, Tractor Supply store.
“I appreciate the way the Tractor Supply Farmers Market showcases the many talented people with creative ideas and skills in the community,” said Vanderford.
Mayra Durante of Zip Paw will be at the Madawaska, Maine, Tractor Supply Farmers Market for the second year in a row, selling unique and customizable dog accessories.
Reflecting on her experience during last year’s national Farmers Market, Durante said, “It was great to see all of the local businesses gathered at Tractor Supply, and eye-opening to see the wide variety of products and services that are available in the community.”
The Bean Family Farm, a small Native American-owned farm in Sutter County, California, will participate again this year, selling goat milk soap, metal art, and Native American jewelry and crafts.
“It was great to be out with other vendors, and I think the people that stopped by really enjoyed it too,” said Tiffany Bean. “Everybody kind of brought something different, and it was a great experience to go out and shop myself, too.”
“It is so exciting to see our more than 2,100 communities come together around our annual Farmers Market, each with its own flair and flavor,” said Kimberley Gardiner, chief marketing officer at Tractor Supply. “We are inspired by the variety and quality of what our customers produce, and Tractor Supply is proud to support our neighbors and their businesses.”
The Farmers Market event at Tractor Supply will offer a wide range of local products, from plants and herbs to soaps and candles. To learn more about Tractor Supply’s Farmers Market and Tractor Supply Company, visit TractorSupply.com/FarmersMarket.
