In a regular display of military support by the ubiquitous rural retailer, Tractor Supply Co. is honoring Independence Day by offering 15 percent discounts for in-store purchases made on July 4 by all active and former service members and their dependents. Individuals can show a valid military ID or other proof of service to take advantage of the discount during the holiday, the company said.
Tractor Supply has long been a backer of servicemen and -women, as well as doing a lot to support rural communities and youth organizations such as FFA and 4-H.
The company actively invests in the military community year-round through various partnerships with Farmer Veteran Coalition, Operation Stand Down Tennessee, Fold of Honor, Dogs on Deployment and American Gold Star Mothers. In celebration of the Fourth of July, Tractor Supply and FVC awarded $50,000 in grants to military veteran farmers and agriculturally focused businesses like sustainable gardening, animal care, organic food education — along with another $50,000 for additional initiatives.
These measures have helped hundreds of farmers in recent years.
The military discount for July 4 is available at any of the more than 2,000 Tractor Supply stores in 49 states, but is not applicable to online purchases made at www.tractorsupply.com. So, if you’re looking for new boots, fencing supplies, or even something big like log-splitters, and you’ve served this nation in the armed forces, Monday will be the perfect day to head to TSC and shop.
Tractor Supply offers an extensive mix of products necessary to care for home, land, pets and animals with a focus on product localization, exclusive brands and legendary customer service for the Out Here lifestyle.
