The future of the agriculture industry lies within the students involved in youth organizations such as 4-H and FFA. To provide and support for the future of agriculture, AgCarolina Farm Credit, Cape Fear Farm Credit, and Carolina Farm Credit raised funds for the students of North Carolina. The organizations held the fifth annual Pull for Youth sporting clays events to benefit North Carolina 4-H and FFA. Over $500,000 has been donated directly to North Carolina 4-H and FFA since 2017.
With nearly 285,000 youth involved in FFA chapters and 4-H Clubs across the state, the funds will make a major impact on these students. A total donation of $100,057 was split evenly between North Carolina 4-H and FFA from the Farm Credit Associations of North Carolina. Agriculture is the number one industry in North Carolina, by providing funds to these youth organizations, Farm Credit is working together to make sure tomorrow’s leaders in agriculture have a bright future. Funds were raised in conjunction with the four Pull for Youth sporting clays events held across North Carolina during the fall of 2021.
A gift of $30,000 in matching funds was also presented from CoBank.

The Farm Credit Associations of North Carolina, CoBank, and our Pull for Youth sponsors believe partnering together to provide funds to North Carolina 4-H and FFA ensures tomorrow’s leaders in agriculture have a bright future.”
The students and staff with both 4H and FFA were involved within these events. FFA members assisted day of by thanking the attendees, assisting with raffle sales, volunteering at the stations, helping serve lunch, and so much more.
