The five Berkshire and Duroc pigs are naturals at digging, helping to convert overgrown fields into cattle pasture.
An innovative and sustainable approach, adding the pigs to the mix fits under $8,000 RAFU grant qualifications. The grant also covers installing fence around the six acres and turning an old greenhouse into an animal shelter.
