Walinga USA brought one of their latest editions in their grain vacuum lineup to the 2020 Farm Machinery Show, the Ultra-Vac 4510G. Touted as obtaining “big results in a small package,” this pneumatic conveying system is designed for maximum loading capabilities for farmers and haulers on the road.
“This is made for the guys hauling with trailers headed out to reclaim or deliver feed,” explains Jonathan Medemblik, the company’s Marketing and Advertising Manager. “Our design was inspired by feedback and input from our customers and sales representatives. It really fills a market niche.”
Walinga prides themselves on having solutions that are driven, in part, by listening to and engaging with their customers.
Made with portability in mind, the Ultra-Vac is DOT equipped for highway transportation. It runs on a Kohler 37 horsepower gas engine with twin cylinders. This means that no PTO is required to get the job done, perfect for odd jobs on the go.
Other specs include it being equipped with the Walinga Sound Reduction Type (SRT) positive displacement CORVOR hard coated blower, and it comes with a suction nozzle and a back-saving floor sweep nozzle. This industrial strength vacuum can also tackle an impressive 1,000 bushels per hour of corn and barley, 800 of wheat and 600 of soybeans. The system can also be easily positioned and repositioned for maximum transfer efficiencies. As with all Walinga Vac Solutions, there is no need for augers, sweeps and shovels.
A true workhorse, the airlock on the Ulta-Vac comes in precision machine housing with a 10 vane rotor, Hardox steel tips and is hydraulically driven with reversible rotation. All the hydraulics are also self-contained, including the heavy gear type pump, filter, hoses and controls. Built to last while being the only system needed, this truly gives even a single person total grain-handling capabilities to fill or empty virtually any grain storage facility.
