The National FFA Organization just opened up its scholarship application portal. As many college students understand, the expense of tuition, room and board, and books can really stack up while acquiring your degree. That is why FFA has stepped up to help students achieve their dream while helping them financially. According to their website, in 2018 alone, the organization awarded $.2.5 million in scholarships to 1,842 members from 44 states!
The application process for the 2019 school year is open now and the deadline is Feb. 6. 2019. This is the perfect time to fill out the application, during Christmas break. Make sure to review the application before you leave for Christmas break in case you need anything from your university.
This easy, one online application will review your application, and make you eligible for ever scholarship that you meet the criteria. You must be a full-time student to apply.
The top five areas awarded are agribusiness systems; animal systems; power, structural and technical systems; plant systems; and biotechnology systems. The National FFA Organization provides scholarships designed to fit the diversity of the applicants. Scholarships sponsored by businesses and individuals, through the National FFA Foundation, are awarded to support a wide variety of higher education plans and career goals.
To get started, the student must log into your password-secured account on the FFA website. Once you have filled out the application you can check the status of your application in progress, save your progress and return to complete your application, and upload required materials directly to your application.
