Kansas FFA pays it forward during National FFA Convention

· October 30, 2017

In case you haven’t seen this little nugget being shared on Facebook over the weekend, these Eureka, Kansas FFA members’ act of kindness during the National FFA Convention is going viral.

After keeping up a local Indianapolis family that was staying in the same hotel due to their house being flooded, the FFA members reached out with $40 and a note under the family’s door saying: “We are more than sorry for waking you and your family up the past few nights. We hope everything goes well with your house.”

Randi Jo Amt posted this on Facebook after the incident:

“In a world where some people sit behind screens and become angry on social media, this young man restored my faith that the next generation can make eye contact and show compassion to the person right in front of him. There were two other guys that I could see in their hotel room. If anyone sees this post and knows who I’m talking about, please tag these guys so I can say thank you and God bless. They set an excellent example for my children and their parents should be more than proud.”
