Michelle Miller, better known across social media as the Farm Babe, is organizing an adventure for farmers, ranchers, agricultural professionals, and their families to see the Bahamas aboard the first-ever Farm Cruise. Guests on the 2025 trip will be able to grow their social circles, harvest connections with other like-minded farming enthusiasts, and embrace a family friendly excursion.
Also, consider this an opportunity to get a jump start on avoiding that classic farmer’s tan!
The cruise, whose motto is From Soil to Sail: A Journey of Farmer Appreciation, will take place from Feb. 24 to 28, 2025. It departs from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will sail to the Bahamas, hitting spots such as Nassau and CocoCay. And if you get moving, you can even earn a chance to cruise for free.
“It brings a never-before-seen excitement to rural communities — a celebration and tribute to agriculture coupled with a much-needed family-friendly getaway,” Miller said.
Miller is launching this endeavor through a partnership with Groove Cruise founder and friend Jason Beukema and Whet Travel. Starting at $969 per person, based on double occupancy, the goal of the Farm Cruise is to book 99 state rooms, essentially having a large section of the cruise liner dedicated to the agricultural community. The price includes all taxes and fees.
The cruise will include farm tours in the Bahamas — not to mention an opportunity to swim with pigs. Included in the price is entertainment, food, shows, and more. Registrants will have to cover alcoholic beverages, gratuity, and any travel expenses between home and Fort Lauderdale.
This event will also have “exclusive meet-and-greets, featuring leading figures in social media advocacy and beyond,” Miller said.
Among those already on tap to join the cruise are Farm Fit Momma Amanda Nigg, the peanut and cotton farmers behind the YouTube channel Field Rows, popular internet farm couple Farmer Grayce and Gavin, North Carolina farmer Jimmy Jones III, Noah Young from Shiloh Farm, Modern Day Farm Chick Annaliese Wegner and Courtney Feigl of the “Ag’s Most Okayest Farm Girls” podcast, and Lesley Kelly of High Heels and Canola Fields.
Regular booking opportunities are now open and can be done through this link.
