Tractor Supply launches annual Fall Clover Campaign for 4-H

Published:

In partnership with the National 4-H Council, Tractor Supply Company has kicked off its annual Fall Paper Clover Campaign, a biannual fundraiser that generates millions of dollars in scholarships for 4-H youth.

Donations from the campaign strengthen 4-H educational programs and allow students to engage in hands-on projects, receive guidance from adult mentors, and develop the skills necessary to take on proactive leadership roles.

Last year’s 2022 Fall Paper Clover campaign raised $1,137,991 to benefit the National 4-H Council. Proceeds from the 2022 Fall Paper Clover event will impact more than 10,000 4-H kids and teens nationwide, funding their leadership conferences, camps, and educational programs.

From Oct. 4 to 15, Tractor Supply customers and team members purchased the signature 4-H Paper Clover Emblem at checkout in-store and online. Funds raised will go directly to 4-H, with 90 percent of donations earmarked for programs in the state where funds were collected and the remaining funds to support the overall mission and growth of 4‑H nationally.

This is the Company’s second Paper Clover fundraiser this year. During the Spring Paper Clover 2023 event, Tractor Supply raised over $1 million for 4-H students nationwide.

National 4-H Week: October 1-7

This week also kicked off National 4-H Week, a week annually set aside to showcase the remarkable youth, educators, and volunteers in 4-H communities throughout the nation.

More than a century ago, the first “head, heart, hands, and health,” or 4-H, clubs were formed to help improve farming practices and farm life. While agriculture and rural values remain a large part of 4-H, the organization has grown to include young people from all backgrounds and types of communities.

Through after-school programs, bilingual projects, technology clubs, partnerships with the military, and many other innovative approaches, 4-H remains one of the best hallmarks of American life.
