Firestone Ag and Carmichael salute farmers on Ag Day

Firestone Ag and Dillon Carmichael have partnered to promote and celebrate agriculture in honor of National Ag Day‘s 50th Anniversary. The video celebrates 2023’s theme of “Growing a Climate for Tomorrow,” and proudly salutes farmers and ranchers’ commitment to leaving a healthy world for future generations. 

“Firestone is very appreciative of the work farmers do to feed the world, and we’re pleased to say ‘Thank You’, salute farmers, and help share their efforts with a broader audience in this simple way during National Ag Week,” said Tony M. Orlando, president, Bridgestone Integrated Agriculture Tire Business.

The video mark’s the second annual collaboration between Carmichael and Firestone Ag, and was filmed during the 2022 Rock the Crop Concert.

 “I think we take for granted our food, and we don’t always think about where it comes from,” says Carmichael.

Firestone Ag features the legacy shared by farmers across the nation, including Carli Nichols, a seventh-generation farmer from Blush, Colorado. 

“I don’t know what my family would do without it,” said Nichols. “I’ve learned from my dad and my grandpa, and they’ve had their hands in the same soil that I’ve had my hands in today. It’s very special to me.”
