Tens of thousands of FFA students from around the nation poured into the Indiana Convention Center today for the start of the 95th National FFA Convention & Expo.
Earlier this week, contests kicked off for qualifying members and teams. Today, the excitement was palpable as members poured into the FFA Shopping Mall and the National FFA Expo. Members tried their hand at operating new technology, learning new skills, and just have a plain good time with vendors, many of whose FFA jackets were nostalgically hung at their booths.
The Opening Session 1A kicked off with Cole Baerlocher, National FFA president and Tamika Catchings, a decorated WNBA member. There was a lot to see and do right out the gate, stay tuned for more photos to come tomorrow!
The 95th National FFA Convention & Expo continues until October 28 at the Indianapolis Convention Center, with events also happening at Lucas Oil Stadium and elsewhere around the city. The official hashtag of the convention is #FFA22.
